Isn't it horrible when you go to put on your favorite silver jewelry and suddenly notice a duller, duller color?

Don't worry, you're not the only one, and I'm sorry to tell you that it's more normal than you imagine. I'll explain to you, when silver comes into contact with the sun, air, or humidity it becomes a darker tone over time, with a more aged and dull appearance, but the "good" thing is that you can recover it whenever you don't. is excessively damaged.

In case you are new to this whole thing about polishing and cleaning silver jewelry, it is important that you know that there are different types of jewelry that sometimes require different types of cleaners and methods, from the best jewelry cleaners that you can buy in any store to the most effective home remedies.

What is the fastest way to clean a silver necklace?

Whenever your silver jewelry starts to look a little dull and you want to restore that beautiful silver shine, try this super easy homemade cleaning solution.

  • First step: Have on hand some warm water, mild soap, the kind we use for dishes, and a soft brush.
  • Second step: Fill the container with water and mix a few drops of soap, then place the jewelry in the mixture and let it soak for at least 5 minutes.
  • Third step: With the soft brush, clean the nooks and crannies, when you're done, rinse and dry all the jewelry with a microfiber cloth.

Another very effective and at the same time entertaining and fun way, I often do it with my little niece who loves crafts with LABAMBA jewels ☺️, is the following.

Grab a bowl that is large enough to hold all the jewelry you want to clean, and cover the inside of the bowl with a sheet of aluminum foil with the reflective side facing up.

Place the jewelry inside the bowl and notice that the jewelry is on top of the aluminum foil. Boil some water and once ready, pour the water into the bowl until the jewelry is well covered. Here begins the fun part, sprinkle a little sodium bicarbonate in the container with boiling water. (I recommend a ratio of one tablespoon of baking soda to one cup of water). Observe the reaction of the baking soda and let it act for a few minutes.
After a few minutes, remove the jewelry, rinse it with cold water and dry it with a microfiber cloth. You will see how the shine of the silver has been recovered and it looks like new.

✨ Remember Taking care of and pampering your jewelry is the most effective way to keep it perfect as the first day. I hope this post has helped you, I send you a super virtual hug, have a happy day!❤️
